I have been working around the Coral Gables community for decades logging hundreds of residential sales in condos and single family homes with access to the urban Downtown. In that time I have become a trusted resource for clients and media outlets looking to understand luxury urban living trends. I was tapped most recently by Coral Gables Magazine to expound upon a trend in high end buyers looking for a city living experience. My urban Coral Gables buyers are often empty nesters looking to branch out from their larger family estates in more suburban communities like Pinecrest or millennials who are keen on the convenience of a central location. 

I’m particularly partial to a sub-community within this neighborhood which I have called “Gallery Row” - a moniker that has stuck and become convention amongst the real estate community. I’m not only an expert on this area that extends through the Ponce de Leon Corridor from Ponce Circle Park south to Bird Rd, but I’m a property owner here too! The area is dotted with numerous art galleries, shops and some residences. It’s very popular during Coral Gables Gallery Night which is the 1st Friday of the month.

I’m also a leading agent representing transactions in the newest community category - upscale row homes. Developers went all out infusing these gorgeous homes with a chic North Eastern style and the buyers have responded strongly. I sold 3 townhouses on Almeria Row in 2018 and recently one on Beatrice Row. These homes offer that same value proposition which makes the urban adjacent areas highly sought after - you achieve the neighborhood feel and can still walk to Hillstone for a martini! Walking down Miracle Mile and Giralda, you’ll find that Downtown Gables caters to all age groups with a growing number of bars and late night spots. 

The rise in this group of urban buyers has been surging for the last 5 years and I have been the leading proponent, often discussing the topic in my digital channels.
